I have lived in Oklahoma my entire life and I've only heard of some of these. Chickasaw and Muskogee are both old Native American land, those are tribal names. Stillwater was named by multiple tribes for the stillness of the water in the region. And a lot of the "weird" names are from the Natives too, they used descriptive words to name a region for the shit in it, they didn't just come up with a random word. A lot of our stuff comes from the Natives. It's really cool.
