Could this be the CHEAPEST halal Sunday roast in London? £13.99 for a proper Sunday roast! This place is bringing back prices from 10 years ago, and the portions are pretty generous too! You've got loads of options including lamb, beef, poussin, sea bass, salmon and vegetarian. All served with roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, peas, steamed veg and gravy. And there's NO service charge! I visited completely anonymously and paid for my meal. We originally ordered the lamb and beef, but were told the lamb had sold out, so my wife switched to vegetarian. Just as our food was arriving, they managed to bring out a lamb roast and offered it to us on the house! Then, towards the end of our meal, the chef surprised my son with some free ice cream. Lovely gesture! It's a small, family-run, Greek-owned restaurant serving European and French-inspired cuisine. Very relaxed atmosphere, nothing fancy, just good honest food at affordable prices. The Sunday roast itself is a proper traditional English-style roast, and for £13.99, I genuinely can't complain. Especially considering what some London restaurants are charging these days! Their weekday menu is also ridiculously affordable, so I'll definitely be returning to try their dinner options. It's refreshing to find somewhere serving something different from the usual burgers, steaks and endless smash burger joints!
