The reason I care is because sometimes I feel like I’m living in the Twilight Zone, where most of society believes in fairy tales simply because we’re uncertain about our existence. When we pretend to have certainty where there’s uncertainty, we stop questioning, discovering, and learning. What’s worse is that we’re indoctrinating children into believing they already have everything figured out because of a book of fairy tales, rather than teaching them to think critically and question what they’re told. And when we raise children who don’t critically think, we raise future adults who won’t question power or authority, even when it’s wrong.

You guys ever think about the phrase “don’t use my name in vain”? I used to be a Christian and I always thought that “don’t say ‘oh my god’ bc it’s saying his name in vain” was stupid. I think that the people who wrote that book probably meant “don’t use my name to place harm in others” LOL! Like the Spanish Inquisition and all that, I think THATS using “his” name in vain. Yk? Also, if all sins are equal in “his” eyes, than why to parents kick out kids for being gay but not for lying or cursing?? How tf is lying on the same level as murder??
