Baking soda and vinegar run on a hot water wash cycle and leave the lid up when not using it. I do mine once a month.

a good top from UK. I was towels on a hot wash and then every now and then a hot wash with bleach and that always fixes it.

There are tablets you can put into the washer and run that will get any residual funk out! Also, make sure you’re leaving the lid open whenever you’re not using it. That mildew smell will be greatly reduced!

Washing machine cleaner is great for when your washer smells funky. You can buy a pack to last all year. You just use it once a month to keep your washer from getting funky.

Use 2-3 cups of white vinegar and the hottest wash cycle you have repeat it again and it will help dissolves lodges dirt in the places you can see and descale it getting rid of limescale and soap build up in the pipes etc hope this helps xx
