There's also an app called Reflex where retail positions from different stores pop up and you just take the shift that you want. They show single days. Sometimes 4 hour shifts or more.

Try Zen educate. You can pick up daily subbing as a para or if the district you’re in needs you long term u can stay at that site for however long they need you. Starting pay is close to 30.

Thankfully I am not in this boat but little pointer for everyone that is: get someone in the field you’re trying to enter to review your resume. A lot of people do NOT have their resumes done correctly and even if you have the right education and experience, you’re probably not going to hear back from places. I pretty passively started applying for jobs early this year after taking some time for myself after graduating from Cal last year, wasn’t really hearing back, and then I got someone in the industry I was trying to break into to review my resume. I took his advice and got a job with my top company making great money within 3 weeks. It’s a tough job market period but knowing how to properly sell yourself in a page or two is going to be a HUGE help.

same. been applying since june. I have a masters in psych but am a few units short to apply for license so i'm at a standstill and haven't heard anything from jobs that don't require licensure (admin) 😒 just been door dashing to get by

government jobs homie. some will literally pay for your college classes if it pertains to the job. look at the campus police too, they usually have admin assistants who work part time and can take classes for free too

Girl yeah it’s awful out here. There’s some seasonal positions opening up for sure bc of holidays and when ur good they normally keep u. I’d try Victoria’s Secret, Sephora, or home goods. If u have sales maybe try gyms too
