@thebrysontheosaunders: Quick notes: this is the VA's rule, not mine. You need 36 months of cumulative active duty (or be within 180 days of separating), be under 62, and have a non-dishonorable discharge. Programs have to be VA-approved and non-degree. If you still have GI Bill left it charges one month per month of training; if you have none, you still qualify. Housing is paid for class days, prorated; $1,261 is the online rate (E-5 with dependents), in-person programs pay the local BAH rate, which can be higher. Funded through September 30, 2027. Apply on VA Form 22-10297; steps in the Military Benefits App 🇺🇸 #veterans #veteran #militarybenifits

Note: if your course is 3 months, this will take 3 months of your GI bill if you still have some and they’ll pay you the GI bill MHA rate. If you don’t have any GI bill left you can still use the program but the MHA is dependent on how much schooling you do. For example, if you’re going to school half-time you’ll only get half the MHA. If you do online only it’s a maximum of $1,200 also dependent on your school time
