@kelsey.dun: One of the biggest things teaching kindergarten taught me is that kids are capable of so much more than we sometimes give them credit for. As a mom, I have to remind myself of this too. I don't need to jump in the second something gets difficult. I can be there, encourage her, and give her room to try. Independence doesn't mean doing everything alone.
