@zeedohimself: 🚨 NELSON MANDELA’S WORDS ABOUT F.W. DE KLERK STILL RAISE QUESTIONS! 🇿🇦 In this clip, Nelson Mandela challenges the idea that former president F.W. de Klerk deserved to be rewarded for the role he played in South Africa’s transition to democracy. Mandela’s argument, as presented in the video, points back to a bigger issue: the ANC was banned under apartheid, and its leaders were imprisoned for opposing a system that denied the majority of South Africans their political rights. Rather than treating the end of apartheid as a favour granted to the oppressed, this perspective asks why people had to fight, suffer and spend years behind bars for rights that should never have been denied in the first place. South Africa’s transition involved negotiations and contributions from different sides, but the injustices of apartheid remain central to understanding that history. 🇿🇦 Was Mandela right to question who deserved recognition, or should the focus be on everyone’s role in ending apartheid? Share your perspective. #Breakingnews #whatzhot #NelsonMandela #FWdeKlerk #ApartheidHistory
