I'm still so angry at Blizzard for banning my father permanently while he was in the hospital battling Leukemia without giving him a reason why, the only way I could spend time with my father while he was 8 hours away and they banned him with no appeal, and when he finally came home it was because he was actively reaching the end and he couldn't even explore the last season of new heroes he would ever see in his lifetime I'm still so devastated, Overwatch was the one thing we loved together that he could still do while sick and they ripped it from him, the banning system needs to be changed and be monitored by actual people, no more automated responses, they need an actual person behind the screen.

Got perma banned for “cheating” but all I use is a controller and high sensitivity for widow. All that money gone all bc blizzard can’t even have a good banning system

I tell myself all the time if my one and only Overwatch account ever got banned for some reason and I could not appeal it, I would never be touching the game again. i've spent too much time and money on my one and only account i'm not going to go through that again on a new one if I get banned for some dumb reason, it's not worth it for me.

I saw someone say that if you get mass reported and banned, try to do the ticket for a hacked account so that it forces a real person to look at it! Idk how much of that is true, but it’s worth a try :(

yep.. unfortunate that the vast majority of popular games moderation system relies so heavily on artificial intelligence. What I can’t seem to understand is how these major companies *ᶜᵒᵘᵍʰ* Blizzard can continue to expect the respect, loyalty & financial support of their player base when the systems they have implemented literally punish all of the innocent players unfairly. like there isn’t any genuine human review how could someone be judged by someone who doesn’t even have a soul? with absolutely NO IDEA how dehumanizing it is to be told you are something that you clearly aren’t.. why does it have to be a one-sided thing?? like i feel as if they don’t really value the players who are keeping them employed. just a little bit of what i had to say and i would continue if this wasn’t so long already but i’m always here to talk leo 💜

Got banned because someone hacked my account and was apparently cheating in game and their response was "anything that happens on your account is your responsibility" they literally dont care at all it sucks I had that account since 2017 and it was absolutely loaded

same thing with me, after i finished my drives as bap and mercy, i got banned from comp, my account should of been idk whitelisted cause they literally false banned and shut my account down, and they knew they made a mistake, for a sorry i got the battle pass for free, as if that would make up deleting my account cause false reports, just an ai system doing it
