@21stcenturyrevival: Everything Was Made for Him | Paul Washer Why did God make the world, and why did he make you? Paul Washer teaches that the Father created, sustains, reveals himself, and redeems a people through the Son, and will one day judge the world through him. The Son is the Lord of glory, and everything was made by him and for him. Because of this, Washer says that placing anything in your religion above the Son is to entertain doctrines of demons. God did not make you out of need. The Father was fully satisfied in the Son, and you were made from an overflow of his abundance, so that he could show his love for his Son to undeserving sinners. Share this with someone who needs to see Christ as preeminent. “But in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.” (Hebrews 1:2) “He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.” (Colossians 1:18) “And behold, a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.’” (Matthew 3:17) #PaulWasher #Christianity #Bible #Gospel #Theology #ReformedTheology #JesusChrist #SupremacyOfChrist #PreeminenceOfChrist #ChristCentered #BiblicalTruth #Sermon #ChristianShorts #Preaching #Trinity
