Ours was WILDLY expensive. We would’ve spent $10k-15k ourselves bc we don’t have that kind of money but my parents volunteered to pay and they’re millionaires and I’m an only child 😅 it ended up being probably £42,000

Honestly £27,500 is not a bad amount for a wedding. That’s only one year’s worth of salary. I feel like that’s what I’d probably do at my wedding too.

My father gave each of his 4 daughters 💰 & an hour long presentation about if we used the 💰 on deposit on a house & small wedding we would never regret! We all did this & NO REGRETS!

So before my husband and I got married we set down and had a talk about finances. We set a limit of 150$ (unless a holiday/birthday) to just give each other a heads up like “hey I’m wanting to buy this”. Concerts 100% would spend enough money because I refuse to go to a concert and not have a good view especially if I know I’m only going to be able to see them once…. Wedding however. We said 10,000 ended up way closer to 15,000 😭. I don’t regret it BUTTTT A small part of me does wish I would have just done a small wedding and used all that money for an epic honeymoon 🙃

thats a crazy amount of money... find ways to trim the budget...go low scale. fewer guests. do a buffet style from your favorite 2 restaurants, skip the fancy slop from the venue. 1 venue for ceremony and reception hall elsewhere

Weddings always turn out more expensive then you estimate for 😳 it's crazy how expensive weddings are these days and every year just gets worse. DJ prices are terrible
