Now police are trying to determine what caused the deadly crash. Wichita police say a 34-year-old woman was parked near the fields at Stryker Sports Complex around 3:25 p.m. on Oct. 17 when her Chevrolet pickup drove onto a field, striking children and adults. The victims were identified as 6-year-old Cole Adrian and 35-year-old Nicholas Schafer, both from McPherson, Kansas. Police say they were not related. Investigators say two of the driver's children were inside the truck, while another was playing soccer on a different field.
