It's just a sense of comfortability. If you think on it deep enough, our government is ripping rights and "rewriting" previously set rules and agreements. We do protest yes, but nobody is willing to do anything physical because of a few factors. 1. The military has a surge of people who hold strong devotion to the country, support their family so they'll do as they're told, and the few who only serve to eliminate 2. Society cannot thrive without a government, the government is in place to protect us. The state of fear is real, imagine leaving your home and going to the store and constantly being on high alert because someone could kill you. Governments exist for a reason. 3. Society and the Government have been able to slowly but surely condition us and provide us with enough enrichment of brain rotting media and the ability to find anything and see anything online. We have the web at our fingertips, and that's one of their most formidable weapons. Because "Give them bread and circuses and they will never revolt." We have so much entertainment and the ability to gorge physically and mentally. That revolting is almost a chore and we refuse to do it. 4. Though Adolf Hitler is not a good person, he had one ideology that holds strong today. The greatest weapon a government can push onto its people is propaganda. The reason why most of Germany at the time despised the Jewish is because of propaganda. And all people telling the truth were so overpowered by propaganda, they were thought crazy by the masses. Look around daily and notice how many forms of propaganda you see. Not all propaganda is political.
