@caught.la: Person down under Dodge Charger after reported 100 MPH crash sends the vehicle through a Koreatown apartment complex, destroying its entrance gate and smashing into multiple parked cars. A female driver traveling northbound on South Virgil Avenue reportedly lost control near Geneva Street before crashing into the Virgil Apartments at 333 S. Virgil Avenue in Los Angeles. Witnesses claimed the bright green Dodge Charger was traveling at speeds exceeding 100 MPH before the collision. The driver repeatedly stated that another vehicle had been making a right turn, although the exact circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear. The vehicle smashed through the apartment complex’s entrance gate, struck several parked vehicles, and pinned a person who was inside the parking garage underneath. The individual remained conscious and responsive while LAFD firefighters worked to extricate them from beneath the vehicle. The collision also caused extensive property damage, including broken water pipes, significant water hazards, and reported damage to the building’s elevator and stairwell areas. Multiple vehicles inside the complex were also damaged. The trapped individual’s injuries and condition following extrication have not been confirmed. • Independent Los Angeles news coverage filmed exclusively by us, Caught LA.
