Mine wasn’t anywhere near that price! The best thing she did was confirm all the vendors the week of the wedding and took care of all the phone calls that final week. Worth every cent.

We had a day of coordinator, BEST thing I did. Mine started helping about 6 wks out with vendors, rehearsal, set up and clean up, she was AMAZING!

100% do a coordinator. It was the best day ever bc I didn’t have to stress about anything. Mine was $500 - I’m in Ohio so things may be cheaper here than where you are but $10k doesn’t sound like the norm even then lol

My photographer and officiant were pretty much our coordinators. Mind you my wedding party was just us so I only really had to coordinate who walked when, which we did a rehearsal for with the officiant

YES DO IT!!!!!! its absolutely crucial to have someone there to delegate tasks and coordinate, exactly what you said, I had one and I would not have it any other way. If you’re going to spend money on something absolutely worth it. Mine was a couple grand for a month of and day of coordinator….. 10k seems a little much? Maybe get other quotes. Absolutely 💯 worth it. You won’t be there to do all the little tasks that you don’t want forgotten

My sister had a coordinator that was in between the two. Did some extras, but still allowed her to do a lot on her own. It was perfect!

The photographer helps with that too because they need to ateast shoot the whole wedding until the last dance especially when they are getting paid for so many hours and someone would be coordinating the whole time at the venue.
