Ever since I was young the fact that parents have to preface an honest opinion about having children with, "I love my children so so so much BUT" never sat right with me. Nothing is worth that level of grief.

I wanted to end my relationship with my ex husband. He drove me to nearly undo my life. I couldn’t do anything right, so to speak. I couldn’t do it anymore. I didn’t as I refused to leave my two beloved children with his emotionally abusive a*s. I’m glad I didn’t because I would have ruined their lives. I can’t tell men-centered women enough that you can replace the man. But, you CANNOT REPLACE YOUR CHILDREN!!!

i love her so much. this is amazing and awful and so god damn lovely. i left a cult. my husband is kind. he adores me and our children… i still don’t know if i like him now that i see the world differently and he would 100% support whatever i choose. and it’s still painful. it’s still awful. leaving a cult and family is such deep grief. making decisions for safety while trying to be alive is daunting… i adore you. women are incredible. we have to make it nicer here for all these babies we’ll be leaving the earth to
