the peaceful coexistence of all humans is ideal but the goal should be for blk ppl to be able to independently survive and thrive outside of the institutions created by yt ppl or any other ppl. Our survival should not depend on other people’s attitudes towards us.

Pre-integration America was a completely different from 2026. Pushing for integration wasn't dumb, it was monumental and deeply dangerous because of the severe racial violence and Jim Crow laws during the time . MLK eventually became more radical grew to recognize the limits of that approach later on, openly stating he regretted not leaning more into Malcolm X’s pathway with the "burning house" quote . You can't judge the strategy without respecting how terrifying the stakes were. He was an idealist who laid a large part of the foundation of black rights in this country. Disparaging MLK's contributions are a net-negative towards building better race relations in the USA.

A system built on equality is better than a system built on exclusion.I'm not saying that we've gone necessarily far enough to change , but in my honest opinion , there should be no difference between white people, black people, Asian people, besides their own culture, everything else, legally should stay the same. There should be no legal difference between a white person and a person of color.\nHistorically your opinion has manifested before , just with little success

It’s just wanting equality or superiority (might not be the right words but yea.) Wanting revenge against your oppressors is a human response, and I don’t think anyone should tell you how to form your dream. An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.

Even during MLK’s time there were tons of white people who supported, fought for, and lived with black people. So, of course the dream is that level of coexistence for and from everyone. But it’s quickly becoming not a thing; lots of black people are making sure to tell white people every chance they get that they hate them and don’t want to be around them, so the group of white people who shared that dream of coexistence are starting to abandon it and side with the idea of separation. “If they hate us, why am I working at all to help them?” mentality.

mlk didn't care about black people at all, he was used by a jewish party to gather black people and push the jewish idea (agenda) of "melting pot". multiculturalism never worked and never will, especially when there's a beef about race or religion

This is a surface level take of what mlk was really about. It was never about kumbaya let’s join with the yts” and more about us gaining resources to even the playing field when it came to those laws disenfranchising black folks primarily. I genuinely can’t stand when yall wanna have this revisionist history from takes you guys most likely took from fbi propaganda like cointelpro. And I already know you’re not gonna respond back to this but every other basically agreeing with who also fell for propaganda. Yall aren’t immune to it and the quicker yall realize that the better.

So u wanna fight segregation w more segregation n u think that’s better? It’s not like we were gonna make white ppl disappear n live in harmony. Assimilating with them and finding equality is realistic. We aren’t forgiving our abuser but more so creating a future where very few become an abuser. White boys are only racist bc they are indoctrinated young so yeah if we could have lil white n black boys hangout together then that is good for our future and history proves it was good

You interpreted “I want everyone to be equal” as “I want nothing to change and my dream is for the mass murder and torture to the black community to continue”. The reason people want to split off into our own nation is so we can escape oppression but if we were equal there wouldn’t be any oppression in the first place. I’m not an mlk glazer but it just doesn’t make sense to me. Unless you want a black ethnostate because you see black people as superior then I understand why you would say this

Just such a horrible take on so many levels. First of all you bring up not wanting to coexist with the white man and used an analogy of an abusive relationship. This just doesn’t relate since the generation alive today had nothing to do with slaver, and a large large majority weren’t even alive for the Jim Crow era. Secondly, it’s simply a fact that in America a vast majority of people just aren’t racist, to group together all white people as racists and people you don’t want to coexist with is the exact same logic the minority of racists use to justify racism towards black people.
