@godlygirls.podcast: Why on Earth would God close the womb of a woman who longs to be a mom?? 1 Samuel 1… For Hannah it was to deepen the gratitude, and alter her heart when she would one day be blessed with a son. It was to understand the weight of an answered prayer. It was to give only God the glory. To create dependence, and to drive her to desperatation, which lead to full dedication of her life and her sons life. And for the mother of the daughter in my youth group… he closed the womb to drive lead you to her 🥹 to create a testimony. To give her a faith. To build your faith. To make you a mother of a child who needed one. If you've taken the time to read this post I appreciate it, because this was one clip from a long podcast and with that I'm sure it could seem insensitive, and that is not the intention. I have never struggled with infertility but know of many women who have, and this video is not intended to minimize or excuse the trials and longing you are facing. I can't begin to imagine what you're going through, and because i’m not in your shoes it's hard to relate. All I see are the testimonies on the other side of years of hardship of closed wombs. I'm not living it. But there's a God who wants to meet you in it. And in some way or another I do believe there's a story on the other side, it may just be different than your expectation.
