this is true. i got a new car while i was actively unemployed this summer, and i felt like everyone thought it was a bad idea bc of the car note. however, my new job is the most i’ve ever gotten paid/the highest position i’ve ever held. i wouldn’t have been able to reliably get to that job without my new car lmao, it’s worth it. now my car note feels like nothing because i have a high paying job that backs that.

Completely wrong if you have discipline. This exact reason is what separates the truly successful from the not. Nobody knows how to work at their hardest uncomfortably. When you constantly push that limit while staying down is when one day your life can completely change. If you’re taking a financial loss to change something that comes with time, to change something that you will eventually do/experience is why you’re behind the person that didn’t. While you’re feeling better, even with the financial loss, the person who stayed locked into their goals will feel better than anyone else could ever imagine because their work will come to fruition while you’re still taking losses for a clarity boost. And these are factual statements, it is shown in time over and over again. You can argue it but the proof is in the pudding

FACTS, just lost 1.5$ changing jobs, now i am working more hours and ending up making more money. Also my stress levels have literally been cut in half changing jobs. Change/risk is often a good idea.
