It was a rich woman he was doing work for. Went on for a year. He’d talk about the jobs but NEVER mentioned her. I noticed he was drinking a lot more, becoming more moody, acting irritated at me for no reason, gaslighting me when I questioned stories that didn’t match up.

They are experts at mirroring. When they have a new target they start to mirror that target and you can see subtle changes, sometimes phrases they’ve never used etc

Mine, who I know now was a covert narc, was hiding a lot! An affair. A sex addiction. Alcoholism. Pathological lying. When the truth came out all I could think is—WHO ARE YOU? I spent 32 years with this man. I didn’t really know him and that’s disturbing

Yep all of that. And made me go to events where these people were and then said I was stuck up when I said people were being odd… it’s because they were being odd towards me because they knew no was never wrong.
