Gosh dude I'm not even sure where to begin with Saturdays loss. I guess we will start with what's next. We have a bye week next Saturday & then we travel to Atlanta to face Florida. As you guys probably saw yesterday was a rough day for the top 10 of college football. The landscape is different. Everything we want is still right in front of us for the taking just like most everyone else. This is a damn good football team and bad games can and will happen. The question I have is how will the team respond to it? Are the players mad? God I hope so. It's nowhere near the end of anything, so will they stand back up and go get better? Absolutely they will, because that's who we are as a team. Heads up looking forward today, and then heads down grinding and getting better for the next 2 weeks until they step off that bus in Atlanta. We are going to be ok. I could go into the details of the bad play from yesterday, but we all saw the game man. Gunner throwing two horrendous interceptions along with the fumble which gave them the win essentially was like a swift kick in the balls. That guys knows that ball security is top priority and bad games happen. I'm not throwing in the towel on the guy. One atrocious game after all he's put on the line for us is something I'll take a deep breath on and move past. He's got to be better and he knows it. That game wasn't solely on Gunner however...our defensive line at times couldn't buy a tackle to save their lives. We missed KJ a lot yesterday as they attacked the middle of the field a good bit on third downs. Auburn did not do anything special to win the football game yesterday honestly. There was no like incredible game called by that staff by any means. A pretty darn good catch in the endzone but that's about it. Still they executed better than we did and that was enough. It was plastered on campus immediately following that win in Tuscaloosa last week. Humility is only a week away. We sucked it up yesterday and that's hard to fathom this morning, but this team is nowhere near done. Go get your shit together and prep for Florida. Go Dawgs 🐶
