That makes sense ♡ in the muslim community I was in, all the females make a meal train for the new mom and each day someone drops a meal for the mom and family up to 6 weeks. It was very helpful especially because I had no family around me.

I kept my kids out of the public for 4-6 weeks and had them covered so no one touched them till 3 months and I nursed them for at least a year

I actually had really good supports for the first few months with my kids...after that though except qith my 3rd who was an emergency c section (and an Amazing partner who wasn't the father) my 3rd my partner did everything bc of the c section and I didn't heal well...he did everything for us until about 3 months when I started to heal
