This gets lost on a lot of people. When you truly love, you love regardless if they're with you or someone else. Love is not possession. Love is not control. Love is NOT attachment. Even our children are not OURS. We nurture, teach, help them grow but we ultimately have to let even them go. You enjoy every present moment and have gratitude for that time shared but when it is no more, it is no more.

Yup after my heartbreak and getting cheating on twice you realize nothing is real, everything is temporary so enjoy each others time but understand that there’s a ticking time bomb… either death or betrayal , etc … you can’t take it personal … we don’t own anything !

I personally understand her perspective on ego and attachment, I can relate. I've reached a point where I can detach when an experience has run its course and move forward without feeling the need to hold on to a particular person. But my heart will always remain open to love. I believe some people have one love of a lifetime. Nipsey was Lauren's person. He was her one love, and that was beautiful for her. I believe he elevated her spiritually, and I feel like she doesn't feel like she's gonna see that again. But I'm not that person. I exude love. Love flows through me, and I see it all around me. I want love in every capacity of my life, and I don't believe it has to be limited to one person or one experience. I've been married twice, and I've learned that I don't have to be attached to one particular person to remain open to love. I can appreciate what someone brings into my life, love them for who they are, and release them when our experience together has run its course. I don't have to close my heart just because one chapter ends. I believe I'll always have love in my life, whether that means a committed relationship, a meaningful connection, or simply sharing love with the people who cross my path. Some people are devoted to one love for a lifetime. I'm devoted to keeping LOVE alive in my lifetime.

Yall not hearing wtf she’s saying. I haven’t loved the same after my ex husband left me for another woman. It’s not a dang joke. In my case I can’t feel love again no matter how hard I try my heart was so pure. I’m glad she got to experience true love but I get where she’s coming from.

This is so hard to explain to so many people. I can love, leave, release, not be attached to outcomes. The free spirit in me needs that freedom part of love. I’m so secure in me I never cared or was affected by other woman. It was all about how the man treated me. Doesn’t mean I want to share, doesn’t mean I will stay. Also doesn’t mean I wont try again later. Relationships are about exposing the best versions of ourselves, being vulnerable, acceptance, releasing, experiencing each other. It might not be meant to be forever in this lifetime, maybe it’s meant to be better later. I hold space for all possibilities. That’s when you know your ego & pride is not in the way. That kinda love that you feel each others inner soul, see each others authentic self before they do, heal each others wounded child, can be free but so content like it feels like home where ever they are. That “I got you” kinda love. It never goes away even if it’s not meant for forever in this lifetime. See ya next one. 😮💨
