So taking those guidelines into account it means that in emergency care settings or before surgery Edoxaban carries a much higher risk and longer washout period. correct me if I'm wrong

The surgeon wants a spinal? What do you mean, the surgeon wants a spinal? That’s absolutely insane! For fuck’s sake, it’s not the surgeon’s decision which type of anesthesia we use! I’m the one responsible for deciding how to anesthetize the patient—not the surgeon!
