What you searched for at 2:47 in the morning. Bro, Facebook doesn’t need a private investigator. Facebook IS the private investigator. 😂 And here’s where the rabbit hole gets interesting. There was an actual government research project designed to collect and organize information about people’s lives. It was meant to create a searchable digital record of human activity. That project ended. Then, around that same era, Facebook showed up. Now, I’m not saying Facebook was secretly created by the government. I’m just saying we went from a world where collecting everyone’s personal information sounded like science fiction… …to a world where people voluntarily upload their entire lives for free. We post our faces. We tag our families. We announce our vacations. We tell strangers where we work, where we live, and when we’re not home. And then we get mad when somebody knows too much about us. 🤣 The greatest surveillance system in history might be the one where everybody willingly clicks “I Agree.” But hey, at least we get to see what our high school friends had for lunch.
