LFG!! Best decision. I would note that if you just want to get a fast BA, there’s resources online to do it very quickly. I did almost whole thing in 14 months and then went to LS. 😌

I’m currently working on my doctorate and trying to go to law school. I also look at things as time is going to pass anyway so I try not to be hung up on timelines.

I would absolutely look into an accelerated program for your bachelor degree if you can. I completed 12 classes in 9 months. Grades are going to be VERY important because you’re going to have to make up for your prior grades from your associate degree. (Don’t worry, I had to do the same thing [Laugh approved])

Im 36 with 6 kids. I didn’t have a bachelors degree either… I had like 100 credits to complete. I started in Fall 2024 and I’m graduating May 2027.. keep going!! I go to SNHU online. I just started studying for the LSAT again.

Not sure if you’ve considered it but you could always pursue an LLB. It’s a bachelors degree, and with you UK citizenship you’d pay domestic fees. Plus if you aren’t all that interested in practicing you don’t have to take the accreditation exams afterwards. Would be a faster route and an immediate law degree!

One thing my college guidance counselor said to me: you’re going to be that age anyway (for you 50) you’re going to be 50 anyway, might as well be 50 with your Law degree 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

just wanna let you know the University of Maine at Presque Isle is a fully accredited state college and they have fully online, self-paced bachelor degrees. they have one in business as well. classes are split into 8 week sessions, with 2 sessions per semester. I did 2 semesters there before I transferred and was able to complete 12 classes. you could potentially bang out those remaining credits super quickly
