philosophically I find the "ill block you if you use this comment section to talk about the this any more" to be really interesting. not meant as shade throwing to be clear - it just made me pull up short and go "huh, I thought of this as *A* comment not *YOUR* comment section." I think in the context of tiktok you probably have the right of it. tiktok comments are mostly directed at the tiktok poster, not an opportunity to discuss a topic the way, say, a reddit post might be. so I think youre in the right but it definitely gave me pause for a sec lol.

power scaling annoys me because people pretend to be scientific while ignoring the glaring flaws in there 'science' when it benefits there idea. I dont mind discussions of who wins in a fight if it's just telling stories and having fun with thinking of weird scenarios like we did as a kid. and yea, ignoring your warning is hella weird behavior

the concept of scaling was fun. but at some point i feel like a group of people on Reddit got together to make up "rules for scaling" that they apply but don't actually fit into every story. and now its just a weird mess that removes the power system and the narrative from the story.

I find vs debates based on power levels and numbers to be quite fun but I totally get why it's not for everyone. Many people take their arguments too far. Ignoring your deliberate instructions to argue is stupid. Thanks for your awesome videos!

it's definitely a matter of personal preference which should be respected I personally like do it and try to be respectful but it's perfectly reasonable not to like it, I think the best channel when it comes to "power scaling" would be goji center

these sorts of hypotheticals are so much more enjoyable when you quit the pseudo science bullshit and instead play it out as an improv exercise. how could they win and what strategies might they use, and what could the other person counter it with. stop trying to measure the exact speed of a punch by counting the frames.

"who would win" is fun when you're discussing what characters would do in specific scenario but that's not what people are doing anymore what they're doing is "my dad would beat up your dad" which is not fun at all it devolved into trashing the other guys characters for any and every reason

I think for death battle people focus so much on the “ analysis” and just ignore the amount of work that goes into the animation voice acting and that the end of the day these chapters aren’t real writers aren’t scientists like death battle they are mimicking reality to tell a enjoyable and compelling story

Power scaling is a card game. You pull cards from the feats or achievements that push or counter each other. It’s fun in a one on one. But when people try take the results of a match and treat it as an established fact. It gets annoying. Like Stan Lee said, “the person who’d win in a fight is the person the script writer wants to win”

It's fun if you do it with your friends irl or people you know but randoms on the internet, it's intolerable. I wrote a story my story and mf were arguing with me on Power scaling my characters its brain dead killed my will to finish the story
