Hi those are nail bed burns cause my the temperature increase in the gel! It’s called Exothermic reaction and can be really severe if the formula is not well paired with the lamp. That is a sign of high monomer content which also contributes to allergies. You nail beds are bruised/burned so let them heal. Gentle care with no length added. ❤️

Beetle is the worst. Started doing my nails in 2019 had no issues made the mistake of buying beetles destroyed my fingers they were raw my nails were all messed up. And I could no longer wear gel nail polish unless I take Benadryl around the clock for five days straight.

I have no idea if anyone has said this or not in the comments section but if you are showing any signs of contact dermatitis please go get allergy tested! You need to know if you have an allergy to the gel because it’s not just gel you can’t use!

I don’t think that’s contact dermatitis. Beetles ingredients cause a pretty strong chemical reaction and have been giving people chemical burns on their nail bed.

That doesn’t look like contact dermatitis. 😭 Honestly I will scream pressons from the roof tops! I make my own and they last 2 weeks. Also I still use beetles. It’s been 6 years and I’m good. For glue, I recommend Beauty Secrets.

I had a nail that did that .... went also to urgent care but it was my dermatologist that told me to use vicks and it healed it very quickly,i put it on at night . i hope you feel better it's horrible having that !

I got the same thing from beetles. It was a chemical burn not CD. I’ve tried other gel polishes with no issue. Hema free gel polishes

Paint your own press ons and cure the shit out of them before you glue them on. Just don’t get any of the uncured paint on your skin

Were your nails super thin when you did your gel? I don't see any blistering or anything on your actual skin so I don't think this is cd but I do think its some kind of chemical burn or from heat spikes from the gel.
