I’d check the heat exchanger as well just to see the condition of it. I’ve been to a few calls tripped on rollout and when I looked at the heat exchanger it was cracked badly

Those ceramic ignitors were awful. I replaced 3 on a Goodman from 96’ in 10 years. Lucky I didn’t freeze the pipes.

HSI is needed! Sometimes glow bars wear out! Exact match is not always available. So one with 2 white wires using ceramic wire nuts are used normally.
