you can cut it with a box blabe just trace a shape and cut it to the length you want just measure from the belt buckle

I would think its called using the belt loops on your belt because if it is to long like yours you can go and put the belt into those loops and go about your day

So you what you would have to do is to get a pattern for the end like the end of a belt lol and measure how far you want to hang down cut off the end in the same shape you would like and then use a little bit of leather sealant around the edges, and you’d be good to go

It’s a belt bro cut it I cut my, $200 belt after you cut it sear it with a heated up brand (or any ref hot metal) then take some wood stain that is the same color as the sides not the face of the belt and stain it back to the color and then vwala enjoy your new belt😁
