I always qualify first but many times the guys want to meet right away. On the 2nd or 3rd text. I tell them I don’t meet with everyone that asks and since my time is important, as theirs is, I want to make sure we meet with the best fit.

Happened to me once! Made a date for 6:30. Met him there we had beers and he ordered a pretzel for the table. For dinner!!! Should have taken that as a sign….never again!

I just tell them would you like to go to dinner at land ocean at this specific location at 6p on Friday? If they say yes great if they suggest something else that I’m not interested in, I immediately block them because you can never win with a negotiator. If you agree to the restaurant switch they will think your easy and start negotiating more things or try to switch to another place again that’s cheaper because they think oh that was easy let’s see if she’ll say yes to this instead

I canceled a date because I got red flags when the meeting place was going to be next to his work...I asked him maybe we can meet halfway and he said we are cause I live 20 minutes from my work 🙄...I still needed to drive to him instead of him driving to me🙄
