he's definitely got a contract for next season. they wouldn't put all this effort into building Liam on the vcarb socials OR HIS CONCERT without a contract for next year it's a waste of time effort and money for red bull to put it on just to replace him

There is so many details to consider. He doesnt bring millions of dollars of sponsorships, he might never be better than he is now and Tsolov might have a greater ceiling. Redbulls strategy has always been looking for someone who is going to be better than great not just really good. That being said I think hes probably the highest valued 2nd driver on the market right now. Apparently he is one of the best guys in the garage in terms of feedback for developing the car.
