Sometimes, God allows the people you expected to help you to step aside so that His glory can be revealed in your life. They may be the channel, but they are not your source. God is your source! He allows certain situations so that when your testimony finally comes, no man will take the glory that belongs to Him. His grace will be magnified, His power will be made manifest, and your life will become evidence that God does not need human permission to bless you. Remember what Jesus said in John 11:4 (KJV): “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.” So, stop carrying bitterness. Forgive them, release the disappointment, and keep trusting God. The person who could not help you is not powerful enough to stop what God has ordained for your life. Your help may not come through the person you expected, but God is never limited to one channel!
