Congress isn’t supposed to push the president’s agenda. They are to act as a check and balance on the other two branches of government. That said, I am not happy with Congress either, because for the most part, the House is just a rubber stamp for whatever the president wants. The speaker sends them home when he can’t get the votes to pass bills when they should be debating the merits of the bills. The Senate is at least trying to be more selective in what they are doing. Neither House of Congress is acting as they should be.
