so a very simple explenation i don't understand why swfans can't accept: she was the first to do it, with a experimental ship that made it bearly possible, "why didn't they do it to the death star?" well they didn't know it was possible, anyone saying "just have ai do it all the time", like have you looked at sw robots, they are as inaccurate as any living species, have tempertantrums and can be easily confused etc, "why didn't they use force lighning before the first user of force lightning first used it?" is the level of stupid critizism here

bro... I always hate the whole argument of "why don't we just holdo maneuver all the time?" for the same reason in ww2 navies didn't just ram other ships. it's expensive, it's impractical, and it's just not how star wars battles work. star wars combat is using ancient tactics from ww2 anyway when they could hypothetically make cruise missiles but they don't because it's boring.
