I know everyone else is saying rough things but I just wanted to pop in and say that my abortion was not as traumatic as I thought it would be. It wasn't the worst pain I've ever been in but it wasn't super comfortable. I slept in the floor of my bathroom all night but bring a blanket with you and relax. Youre so prepared. 🤍

I was nervous and read a lot of stories that scared me. But honestly it wasn’t that bad. It was like a very very heavy period with clots. Normal period cramps. I slept a lot.

Highly recommend eating things with iron in them. The blood loss can be more severe (not always) and iron rich foods (similar to before and after blood donation) can be extremely helpful

Make sure you have someone with you or keep in contact with someone just in case because the meds can do funky things. If you feel like something is wrong trust yourself and get help! Sending you all the good vibes on your journey 💕
