@__sa.baba: لِمَاذَا تَخَلَّيْتَ عَنِّي؟ إِذَا كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّي.. أُحِبُّكَ أَكْثَرَ مِنِّي لِمَاذَا؟ _نزار قباني “Why?” is one of the most famous poems of separation and reproach by the late Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani. In it, the poet speaks through the voice of a heartbroken lover, expressing his shock and bitter questions about why the other person suddenly abandoned him after making promises of eternal love. The poem was also adapted into a famous musical work, composed by Kazem Al-Saher and sung by Ghada Rajab.
