Look why not change New York which is named for a place in the United Kingdom as well think about all the places that have names from foreign places in America because immigrants came here and named them. Guess we should rename them all as well. We don’t change the names of things unless we are rolling them back to a older name or the name is for someone who was not a person worthy of having their name put on things as a honor to their memory.

New Mexico is old. all they did was keep their territorial name when they became a state. more than half of Texas used to be New Mexico.

Good he doesn’t know much about state flags. California uses the same flag we had when we were our own republic. That’s why it says California republic on the flag. I feel like a second bear flag revolt would be good the longer this goes on.
