I never cussed at cars, engineers in the 80s90s or early 2000s. I loved working on vehicles. I despise everything after cash for klunckers. usually burnt valves and cracked exhaust manifold come from vacuum leaks ( to lean). little info for the noobs.

old gm tech told me that the egr will cause the center valve to burn. I had it happen twice.

I used to love doing clutches on those. You just pull the whole motor out and split the case on the bench.

I’m no car expert, but I know coolant shouldn’t be in there with the pistons. Can someone explain how it got there and why it wasent a big deal? Why he just moved on ?
