I feel bad about complaining but Im in 19k credit card debt & now make a good amount of money due to my new career but I am still drowning because of interest. Everything online says I wouldn’t qualify for bankruptcy due to my income. What else can I do? :(

I filed last year, now my credit score is back in the 700s and I just leased a new car. Still unemployed but I’ve decided I’m going to build and live in Jamaica for the next 3 years. On top of that my federal student loans were discharged because of borrows defense. $80k federal student loans gone off my credit. I just turned 33, no kids and live with my parents so I just feel so free and better about life.

needed this. so many people told me not to file, i’ve been praying over it and it’s honestly the best thing i can do. i’m in grad school, working part time, i cannot keep letting this stress me out

I got completely decimated in a divorce, which is crazy work. I had no choice but to file. It was a real hit to my pride, but it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. My credit score was back up to a 700 by the time my bankruptcy was discharged. Still climbing.
