The major problem with your argument is that the notice of lack of criminal responsibility was filed over a year before the bifurcation was denied. So he knew he was going with insanity long before he had to decide on the bifurcation request.

While yes it is inherent in a NGRI defence that he has to essentially admit his client’s guilt, what you and many of the clancy cultists are missing is that he never needed to stick to the NGRI defence. He could have chosen to go down a traditional NG defence, and given the utter lack of investigation by the police that the cult asserts, it should be a slam dunk win for him

You’ve either conveniently left out or not researched the part about Reddington offering to have Lindsey stipulate in writing that she caused the deaths of the children for part 1 of a bifurcated trial.
