They all did. people that dress in the shitty mascot costumes and panhandle off people kids, the fake monks that shove bracelets on your wrist and demand a $20 "donation", the people that bring animals out (regardless of weather/heat) and treat them like photo props. Tourists and Locals just want to be able to enjoy walking around without gettinf their arm twisted every five minutes bc people refuse to get real day jobs.

Yes it is not required but is customary. We live off of tips. If you have this sign up you should then take away their tip compliance that eats their paycheck and raise the hourly rate

are people not reading?? this is about the “tips” street performers demand, not eating out at the restaurants or service workers. They’re talking SPECIFICALLY about the STREET PERFORMERS only! I used to be one of the showgirls/cop girls back in 2021, it was tough doing it just for fun because the ones who use it as a full time job are too aggressive. But I fully support reminding EVERYONE that almost none of those performers need anything more than a few bucks or a $5 if you’re feeling generous, or NOTHING AT ALL.
