I ride my bike out there all the time. A few times I have to turn around because of these guys and one time I had to call my husband to drive out there and save me because they all appeared and I didn’t feel comfortable riding a bicycle past them

That’s an island in the Great Salt Lake. It’s a uniques breed of bison so they keep them sequestered on the island to maintain the breed.
