We have pushed it so far away. It manifests into hatred, into disdain and toxic cycles. It never went away, we just crushed it down so far that it can only peak through in the worst of ways. We have such ability to love and enjoy, our leaders lost that, and in turn have tried to steal ours for centuries. There is a reason why some people can’t stay away from one another even when logic says to. Why people go and travel to the mountains to find peace again. Why we keep animals and plants in our homes. It’s there. You feel it in ur bare feet when they are in the grass, in ur hands as they grasp a lover and in ur nerve endings when they hold you. Bring it back. Bring back the craftsmanship in our architecture, bring back the special emotional care of our music, of our literature. Bring back being human.
