@mrmbb333: Earth’s magnetic field could be in for a shake-up as a high-speed stream of solar wind approaches, bringing the possibility of northern lights across parts of the United States! NOAA has issued a G1 geomagnetic storm watch for October 19–20, with activity potentially reaching Kp 4.67 as solar wind from a coronal hole interacts with Earth’s magnetic field. Parts of Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Montana, the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin and northern Michigan could have an opportunity to see the colorful display if conditions cooperate! Anyone in these areas watching the skies? Share your location and any photos or videos of the northern lights below! #MrMBB333 #NorthernLights #AuroraBorealis #EarthWatch
