Common sense no new couch yet😂 this way the kids can be kids and everyone’s happy. It’s just furniture. I agree with you. No new couch. Your couch is clean and lived on like it’s meant to be sometimes. Yes food falls markers end up play -Doh. It’s all good.

Just breathe girl, it’s okay. My children are grown and I still have black sharpie on the wall at the front door. I look at it and think, I wish my kids were little again and back home. I placed a frame over the sharper on the wall as a reminder of my babies just being babies. My mom always told me that the laundry will be there the next day and the next day, don’t worry just spend time with your babies because before you know it they will be grown. She was so right. You are an amazing mother, don’t let anyone tell you any different. 🥰

Kadyn, don’t pay attention to all these “perfect” moms. Life happens! I once saw a quote that said will your kids remember your clean house or the times you spent with them? It goes by waaaay too fast. It’s just marker.

You don’t owe anyone an explanation, and children are far more precious than any sofa. I remember when one of my boys spilled tomato sauce on a snow-white carpet; I didn’t say a word—I just tried to scrub it out. It didn’t come out completely, so that was that—I threw it away. Everything else can be replaced, but not my children. We shouldn’t place value on material things, and we shouldn’t get upset with our children.
