Protect your peace. Guard your circle. Starve what distracts you and cultivate what produces good fruit. Never allow applause to inflate your ego or criticism to diminish your worth. Pride comes before destruction, and humility will take you places arrogance never could. Be mindful of the company you keep. Gossip reveals the character of the speaker, but entertaining it reveals the character of the listener. You don’t have to spread the poison to participate in it. Remember, the enemy doesn’t attack what he already owns. Opposition doesn’t always mean you’re on the wrong path. Sometimes it’s a reminder to stay grounded in your faith and committed to your purpose. Don’t become so consumed with proving people wrong that you forget what God called you to do right. Your character is your testimony. Your consistency is your evidence. And your peace is too valuable to surrender to someone else’s opinion. You don’t need the last word when you’re focused on writing the next chapter. Stay humble. Stay disciplined. Stay faithful.
