my mom's last day rally was so special. she truly loved getting to say goodbye to so many and it was as good of an ending as I could ever have hoped for.

Days before my grandmother passed away, she looked at the foot of her bed and started a conversation with her father. She called out his name and asked why he was there. What was more alarming or reassuring was she also was talking to her sister who had recently passed away in Cuba and we had decided not to share the news with her. My father had a conversation with his Mother days before passing.

Another hospice nurse here. When I’ve had patients see others who have passed I ask them questions like who are they? What are they wearing? What are they doing? I always ask how does that make you feel? Everyone has said all peaceful inside. It’s why I love hospice. Very spiritual.

When my Aunt was in hospice. She rallied the night that she also passed away. She decided she wanted to eat two Dixie cups of chocolate ice cream, which I happily fed to her. She died later that night the nurse said she just sat up in the bed, laid back down and passed away💔😪🙏

This why is important to always be with an elderly parent, keep the involved with daily drama, make sure they are active. Once they get into a depression it’s almost too late.

My father was on Hospice for 10 months his Hospice Nurse told us he had a blood cancer. when he passed they didn't do an autopsy. His death certificate is marked cause of death was aplastic enema. I don't understand that
