I think some may be missing his point and it’s valid. Example. I need to go buy a part for the car that broke down. Why bother disclosing that when the decision is made? Example child needs food you buy it, child needs new shoes you buy it. All those are valid. The discussion can come after. You also at the same time need to have a level of trust of the other person that they are not abusing said trust and the car part isn’t a 40% premium upgrade or not really needed when a lower cost copy is available. Shoes the shoes don’t have to be the latest $100 shoes for something that is going to be outgrown in a month. Hiding Ks of losses because you messed up isn’t the same either. Manipulation of said situation either. You may want 100% transparency each time but that can get exhausting and shows lack of trust on your partner.
