this is a complete hack job. the turret plate exists for a reason. The junction between the exhaust outlet of the heater and the exhaust pipe is not perfectly sealed. there's a chance you're dumping carbon monoxide into the van

soo uhh the intake should be far away from the exhaust for starters and second the fan will melt along with the plastic housing from the hear if it gets as hot as you say it does bro but fix those two flaws and I think your system will be safe and durable af
